Boys and Girls Teams Open League With Win Over Livermore

 

Both the boys and girls teams came out victorious in the first league dual meet of the year against Livermore.  The boys meet came down to the 4x400 as Cal narrowly won 70-66.  The girls team won by the score of 80-56.  Justin Miller, Chelsey Kamson & Julianna Levy were named the team athletes of the week for their efforts.

Meet highlights:

  • Chelsey Kamson wins 4 events (100, 200, 100HH, 4x400)

  • Dmitry Kislyuk wins 3 events (1600, 800, 3200)

  • Julianna Levy wins 400, 300IH, 4x400 and places 2nd in the triple jump

  • Justin Miller wins the 110HH, places 2nd in the high jump and wins the pole vault with a school record 15' 0" vault

  • Kasey Addiego moves into a tie for 6th place on the all-time Cal High pole vault list going 12' 6"

  • Colleen Lillig moves into 6th place on the all-time Cal High list in the 1600 with a 5:21.9 and 3rd on the all-time 3200 list with an 11:48.3

  • Danielle McHugh gets onto the top ten list with a 93' 0" throw in the discus
