Multiple Grizzly Qualifiers to MOC From Tri-Valley Meet

Several Cal High athletes qualified for the Meet of Champions at the Tri-Valley Area meet at Granada May 19.  The top 7 in each event get to participate in the sectional meet at UC Berkeley May 25/26.   Highlighting the performances were school records by Jenna Langseth in the pole vault (10' 4") and the girls 4x400 team of Chelsey Kamson, Vanessa Shaw, Julianna Levy & Brienne Doan (4:02.26).

The list of qualifiers:

• Justin Miller - 1st place pole vault

• Chelsey Kamson - 3rd place 200, 4th place 100H, 3rd place 4x400

• Colleen Lillig - 4th place 3200, 8th place 1600 (scratch move up)

• Brienne Doan - 3rd place 300H, 3rd place 4x400

• Jenna Langseth - 5th place pole vault

• Rachel Ehsan - 8th place triple jump (hit qualifying mark)

• Danielle McHugh - 4th place discus

• Dmitry Kislyuk - 4th place 1600

• Garrett Tsang - 6th place triple jump

• Travis Tsang - 4th place triple jump
